option2-Installation of PAROC Hvac Sections GreyCoat T
PAROC Hvac Section GreyCoat T is a non-combustible stone wool pipe section for thermal and condensation insulation of pipework in buildings. It has a reinforced grey aluminium foil facing and tape in the longitudinal seam which prevents condensation and gives a quick installation.
General instructions
- During the installation, both the object to be insulated and the insulation material should be at a minimum temperature of +10 Celsius. Allow the temperature of the insulating material to adjust to the ambient installation temperature.
- Always store the GreyCoat tape at room temperature.
- Check that the surfaces to be joined with tape are clean and dry.
- Ensure that pipe section seams are tight but without extra tension. The same applies at supports and other projecting parts.
Follow these insctructions to install PAROC HVAC Pipe Section GreyCoat T:
Apply the section
Securing the section
Taping all joints

Clean the surface carefully. |
Remove the release paper and put pressure on the tape with a spatula. |
In order to secure the installation, additional fasteners are required.
Option 1 - Galvanized wire
|
|
|
|
|
Put galvanized wire around the section. |

Put the tape around the section. |
Use the “tapelock” method where the tape is fastened glue against glue. |
Fold the tape so that the glue side is attached to the facing. |
