Only dry insulation works as intended - Building Physics 2017 seminar

25 Oct 2017
The Building Physics 2017 seminar held in Tampere, Finland on October 24-26, brings together over 500 construction professionals to discuss topical issues related to building physics.

One topic of discussion was the key role of moisture management on building sites during the construction period and the long-term practical moisture properties of structures when building a safe, healthy and durable building.

Hannu-Petteri Mattila from Paroc's Research and Innovation team presented findings of the extensive thermal insulation moisture research conducted in 2016-2017 by VTT Technical Research Centre in Finland Ltd. More research data on the superior moisture properties of stone wool will be published during the spring of 2018.
