Paroc Group appoints Igor Shatz as general manager for Russia

Igor Shatz (44) has been appointed general manager responsible for Paroc Russia as of November 1, 2012. Igor Shatz will be a member of the Paroc Group management team.

Igor Shatz has strong industrial experience from various general management roles. He has worked in the brewery industry, but also has experience in the construction industry. In his most recent post he worked as managing director of Heineken Brewery LLC, based in St. Petersburg. 

Igor Shatz has earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the St. Petersburg Forest Engineering Academy and an economics and enterprise management degree from the St. Petersburg Military Mechanical University. He has also completed an MBA degree in the Norwegian MBA Program.

Igor Shatz will succeed the previous general manager for Paroc Russia, Oleg Ermakov, who has been appointed sales director for Paroc Technical Insulations in the Russian market.
