New Paroc production plant opened in Russia

Paroc Group, the leading manufacturer of insulation solutions in the Baltic Sea region, officially opened its new stone wool insulation plant in Russia on December 3, 2013.

The Russian Prime Minister, Dmitri Medvedev, and the Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs, Jan Vapaavuori, attended the grand opening ceremony in Izoplit. The new plant is the first step in Paroc investment plans in Russia. The value of the investments is estimated to reach the total of 170 million euros.

Paroc new plant is located in Izoplit, Tver region. The recently opened first production line is worth 60 million euros in investments and covers approximately 10% of Paroc’s total production. Currently the plant employs 120 people. After completing all the planned investments in Izoplit, Paroc will employ approximately 600 people there.
