At the housing area Misteröd outside Uddevalla, 27 rented flats and two sheltered houses have been built using the passive house technique. The insulation in the roof is 600 mm and in the walls 460 mm. The house also has two front doors, which form an airlock, preventing the indoor heat from escaping. In this type of project, it is also very important to avoid cold bridges. The houses at Misteörd are very tight.
