MS Oasis of the Seas, owned by Royal Caribbean International, is 47 metres wide and 360 metres long, and carries over 6,000 passengers. The vessel was built by STX Europe (formerly Aker Yards) in Turku, Finland. STX Europe has been a long-term partner for Paroc, and so MS Oasis of the Seas, as well as its sister ship Allure of the Seas, were insulated with PAROC insulation products.
When a ship is designed by highly skilled professionals, built by the best workers with the best tools and materials, it is only natural that they will choose our products for insulation. Paroc provided a wide range of insulation for this magnificent cruise ship: PAROC Marine Mats, PAROC Marine Slabs, PAROC pipe sections and preformed products. All of these materials were used with different kinds of coatings. In total, from the factory to the ship, 250 full truck loads of Paroc products were used, excluding the subcontractors who supplied to the cruise ship cabins, corridors, ceilings and fire doors using our products in them.
