In the housing area Stadsskogen in Alingsås, 1,000 new flats have been built using the passive house technique. The construction has been carried out in three stages. The passive house technique is in line with instructions the housing company Alingsåshem received from the owner Alingsås kommun. By using a passive house design, the use of energy is expected to fall by about 50% over the long run.
