PAROC sandwich panels prevented the fire from spreading in Dalco Foods firePAROC panel solutions are a reliable choice wherever fire-safe structures are required to protect life and property. The system provides a complete solution for fire-resistant facilities or interiors, with non-combustible panels and specially designed details and accessories.

PAROC® panels are non-combustible

Our panels are non-combustible, classified in Euroclass A2-s1,d0. PAROC structural stone wool core is in Euroclass A1. PAROC panel structures meet the requirements for fire resistance up to four hours in walls and up to one hour in ceilings.

PAROC panels in EI-M classified fire wall

EI-M classified fire wall

EI-M classified fire wall has been tested according to standards EN 1364-1 and EN 1363-2. Classifications EI-M 60... EI-M 120 are available. For more information, please contact Paroc Panel System.

Fire-safe detail design

In case of fire, PAROC panels function as a catenary structure. Therefore, when designing fire-resistant structures, execute the detail solutions so that the whole structure meets the requirements on stability, insulation and tightness. It is also important to transfer loads, for example from roof structures, down to the bearing structure.

What happens in case of fire?

When designing fire-resistant structures, select the correct PAROC panels along with the right detail solutions in order to meet fire requirements. Paroc Panel System provides a range of approved detail solutions to guarantee the function of panel structures.

Tightness

PAROC panels for fire-resistant walls are delivered without sealing in the joint. The panel joint is sufficiently tight against hot flue gases. For the sealing of penetrations and joints, use non-combustible PAROC stone wool.

Penetration in PAROC panel

Penetrations

In fire partitioning structures, penetrations have to fulfil the same fire rating as the structure. They must be tight enough and prevent heat transmission from the hot side to the cold side. The insulation of the penetration is made with non-combustible stone wool.
