The valves and flanges of pipelines must be insulated using separate, easy-to-open jacketing. An aluminium foil-faced wired mat is attached to the inside surface of the jacketing, with the foil facing inwards. This makes any necessary service and maintenance work easy and clean to perform, and the same jacketing, with its insulation, can be reused several times.
