Noise reduction insulation is needed in pipelines containing high-speed airflow or high-pressure steam. PAROC high density stone wool pipe sections are good for reducing noise in pipeline applications, especially with PAROC Pro Lock multilayer solutions. They do not need any additional supporting structure on horizontal pipelines, which in many cases makes the total heat or sound insulation worse. PAROC Pro Lock 140 is the best product for reducing noise in industrial pipelines.
To improve noise reduction in multilayer insulation solutions, it is good to have some heavy facing layer in between the wool layers. |
