 Pitched roof II

The thickness of the insulation is limited by the dimension of the truss. The thickness of insulation can be increased using a secondary stud apparatus internally as shown here. The secondary stud apparatus act as a nailing batten for the sheet material.

It is important that there is a good air gap between the insulation and the outer roof and that the wind protection is sealed.
