Paroc stone wool has an important role in providing the required fire and sound insulation properties for the partitions. In renovation objects the design of partitions follow the same principles as for new building.
Paroc's ETA approval for partitions helps to select the needed partition structure. The certificate is based on the common European regulations described in ETAG 003. To be able to cover some additional constructions regarding sound we have also asked from VTT for a statement related to sound insulation. The figures described for each construction are based on calculations taking into account also the ability to produce the partitions on site. There are some safety margins here but it is possible to use the figures for designing as such. |
