Improved insulation efficiency in our products

In Paroc we have a concept called Energywise House. The idea is that we provide advice and guidance about actions to lower the energy consumption in new-build and renovation projects.  This since we know that many of our customers and house-owners appreciate the reduced costs they can achieve and that they share our climate engagement.

In line with the Energywise House idea we have been focusing more on the development of the insulation efficiency (thermal conductivity, also named λ value) in our products. Several projects have been ongoing side by side. We are glad to inform you that the outcome has been positive with improvement in a large number of products.

The insulation efficiency in most of our products has improved in the range from 3 % up to 8 %.  Important to notice is that the result has been achieved without lowering any other product properties. More specific information about the new lambda values for different products can be found via the link. We will continue the development work in our R&D and in our plants and will come back with more information.
