The intention behind the Paroc Panel System Award is to encourage the development and improve the quality of architectural design and generate innovative applications for the Paroc Panel System.
The Award will be presented to a single winner from among the nominated projects. The criteria for nominations are architectural integration and innovative ideas exploring the "Inner Nature" of external wall cladding, internal walls and ceilings made from Paroc Panels.
The Award 2004 prize of EUR 10,000 will be announced at a ceremony in June, 2004. An Award Committee will select the winning project from amongst those nominated and, in addition, five projects will be awarded a prize of EUR 1,000 each.
Paroc Panel System awarded a similar EUR 10,000 prize in 2000 to Geoffrey Reid Associates, London for its application of composite cladding panels in Project Ceasar for BAA, at London's Heathrow Airport.

How to participate
In order to enter the competition, please send your project material on buildings which have either been completed or are at the design/construction stage, to the Award Committee at Paroc Panel System, Finland, or to Paroc Panel System's local sales or sales representatives. The deadline for entering the competition is March 30th, 2004 and the building project forming the basis of the entry must be completed by June 1st, 2004.
