To achieve a low noise level and clear distinction of speech, we recommend a reverberation time of around 0.6 seconds at frequencies between 250 – 4000 Hz
Install acoustic slabs throughout the ceiling surface and if possible the upper parts of the side walls. Cover the back wall with special acoustic wall panels. Panels can then be used for various purposes, such as billboards for children’s drawings.

We recommend a reverberation time of around 0.6 – 0.9 seconds at frequencies between 250 – 4000 Hz. In classrooms it is important to achieve good distinction of speech. For people with hearing difficulties, classroom reverberation time must be even lower than in a normal classroom.
Install acoustic slabs to cover about 50% of the ceiling surface and, if possible, the upper half of the back wall.
For suspended ceilings, use sound absorbing slabs (e.g., PARAFON® Classic, thickness of 15 or 18 mm) on the peripheral area and sound reflective slabs (PARAFON® Reflex) in the middle area of the ceiling. With this solution the teacher’s speech is also reflected to the back of the classroom.
