An intensive product design development project has generated its first creation with the birth of the PAROC^® dot panels. Small dots pressed on the panel surface create exciting shadings and fadings. Using your imagination you can let nature inspire you and create new visions, for instance waves of the sea or trees in a forest. Originally the idea of using dots was generated under the supervision of Dick Karlsson, Development Director at Paroc Panel System.

-  The idea first originated in Alessi dishes, and the idea was further processed in cooperation with design office Desigence, who has been of great help in the product development process and have brought in new visions, Karlsson acknowledges.

- In addition, the product had to be easy to implement using separate equipment, which would not affect our production capacity.  Here we got help from engineering workshop Conservice, who designed and manufactured the equipment. This equipment is also easy to alter for new design panels in future.  

An advance marketing campaign showed that architectural offices regard the new product design as an interesting novelty in modern building.
