SI-Tech B.V., the distributor of the Paroc Panel System in Benelux countries, has concluded their biggest Panel System contract ever with the Dutch beer producer, Grolsch N.V. The contract includes 30,000m2 of the new Shadowline facade and 10,000m2 of internal wall for a new brewery to be built in Holland.
The brewery will be built on a 25 hectare area south of the town of Enschede near the German border and its total area, including its storage buildings, will be 120,000m2. Building work was started in the beginning of 2002 and the brewery will be ready in early 2004, producing 4 million hectolitres of Grolsch beer per year.
The relatively new panel, Paroc Shadowline, was introduced in late 2000 and has since been used in projects throughout the UK, Sweden and the Baltic countries. Its V-shaped joints were originally designed to create a clear profile between the panels and to emphasize the smoothness of the components.
The Paroc Panel System offers a complete product range, as well as customer solutions including detailed planning services. As a market leader, Paroc invests heavily in new product development (e.g. Shadowline) and has developed superior processes and wool quality for sandwich panels used within buildings.
