Previously, Hällekis had two production lines for building insulation employing about 165 people. Now with the new factory and production facilities for technical insulation, the number of personnel will rise to two hundred.

The products manufactured in the Hällekis factory are mainly sold in the Swedish market. As Hällekis now produces both building insulation and technical insulation, the factory offers a good coverage in view of both product range and location. The production machinery for technical insulation products was moved to Hällekis from the Skövde factory, which was closed down in November, 2001.

The total area of the Hällekis factory, including a new warehouse, amount to 11 000 sq.m with the factory occupying 7800 sq.m. and the warehouse 3400 sq.m. Additional parking space has also been built on the premises, as well as a new canteen. Paroc's investments in this project total are appr. 7.1 million euro.
