Stone wool manufacture in Finland dates back to 1952, when Paraisten Kalkkivuori Oy's Lappeenranta factory began to make a product, known for its excellent heat insulation capacity, by melting rock and centrifugalising the fibre-like product.
Over the years, stone wool has provided a wide variety of applications: the range of wool products and its derivatives now comprises hundreds of merchandises. Originally as a building insulation material, stone wool has been diversified to cover a number of ever-more sophisticated solutions for construction.
Our state-of-the-art solutions of today include Technical Insulation products, Panel
System's Sandwich elements and interior panels for acoustic solutions.
