Paroc and Cape Industrial Services have signed a contract for the supply of technical insulation products to the giant Karachaganak oil and gas condensation field in West Kazakhstan.

The first phase of the contract consists of pipe sections, wired mats and slabs to the field. The total value of the contract is estimated to be EUR 1,8 million and it is believed to be the largest single hot insulation contract in the world. Deliveries will take place from the Lappeenranta factory and will start in spring. Supply deliveries will end in middle of 2003.
