Väinö Tuomisalo appointed President & CEO of Paroc Group

The Paroc Group Board has appointed the present Chief Operating Officer (COO) Väinö Tuomisalo President & CEO of Paroc Group and a member of the Paroc Group Board as of 1 January, 2007. The current President & CEO Peder Biese continues as an Executive Member of the Paroc Group Board.

Väinö Tuomisalo, 53, joined Paroc (Partek at that time) in August, 1979 and has held roles of increasing responsibility since that time. On March 1, 2004 Tuomisalo was appointed to his current position from the position as Head of Technical Insulation. He holds a licentiate's degree in technology from the Lappeenranta University of Technology.

"Our business environment has gained momentum and the company is in excellent shape.  For me this is a natural moment to move on to become a full-time board member. Väinö's appointment is a logical continuation of the management development practiced over the years. This will guarantee the future success", says Peder Biese.
