20 million square metres of PAROC panels

During its 23-year history Paroc Panel System has manufactured 20 million square metres of noncombustible Paroc panels. In practice this means about 100 000 truckloads of panels to around 33 000 projects in over 40 countries!

The 20 millionth panel square metre was manufactured at the factory in Parainen in December 2009 and was delivered to a fire station project in Nivala, Finland in February 2010. The fire station was implemented in the form of a project management contract. In charge of the architectural design was Maria Nygrén and the design was at the same time her master's thesis at Hämeenlinna University of Applied Sciences and VIA University College in Denmark. Various materials were skilfully combined in the facades. The tower, at the same time an impressive landmark, was built of Paroc panels and the enormous text seen on the tower was implemented using the PAROC print panels launched barely a year ago.

Years of experience and tens of thousands of projects have made Paroc Panel System a reliable cooperation partner. Its international network of sales offices and distributors cover almost the whole of Europe as well as the Middle East. The main markets are in Northern and Eastern Europe.
