Paroc Group invests in capacity expansion in its Trzemeszno plant, Poland

06 Oct 2017
Paroc Group launches a capacity expansion programme in its Trzemeszno plant in Poland as a part of its growth strategy. In addition to the positive future construction outlook, two key macro drivers ‒ energy efficiency and fire safety – are expected to increase the demand for insulation materials. Paroc believes that the demand growth will be especially in favour of stone wool insulation materials due to its superior fire resistance properties.
A new state-of-the-art stone wool production line will be built in the existing plant in Trzemeszno. The plant offers a good platform for further growth in Central and Eastern Europe thanks to the already existing infrastructure, optimal geographic location, and experienced workforce. The utilization of the latest Paroc technology will ensure high capacity, efficiency, and product quality.

"This is an important step for Paroc to continue the profitable growth. Demand for insulation has been increasing, especially in the Central and Eastern Europe. With increased production capacity we are able to grow together with our customers and improve our competitiveness and efficiency," says Kari Lehtinen, CEO of Paroc.

The investment is expected to be completed in 2019. The total value of the investment amounts to approximately 60 million euro. The total annual production volume is expected to increase by 60‒70 thousand tons across the building and technical insulation.
